Slipster ("the app," "we," "our") is a task-management app for iOS and Android. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Slipster is built to work fully offline on a single device by default — the sections below apply only to the extent you use the features they describe.
If you choose to sign in (with your Google or Apple account) to enable cross-device sync, we receive your email address and a unique account identifier from Google or Apple. This is used solely to identify your account across your devices — we never see or store your password.
Your tasks, categories, recurring-task templates, and completion history are stored locally on your device at all times. If you sign in and subscribe to cross-device sync, this same data is also stored in a private, per-account cloud database (Google Firebase/Firestore) so it can appear on your other signed-in devices. This data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for anything beyond making sync work.
Slipster creates and manages its own dedicated "Slipster" calendar to show your scheduled tasks alongside your other calendars:
If you subscribe to cross-device sync, your purchase is processed entirely by Apple or Google through their respective app stores, using RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We never see or store your payment card details. RevenueCat receives an anonymous purchase record and your account identifier (see above) so your subscription can be recognized across your devices — see RevenueCat's privacy policy for details on their handling of that data.
Task data stored only on your device is deleted when you delete the app. If you've used cross-device sync, your account data is retained in our cloud database until you request deletion. To request deletion of your account and all associated cloud data, contact us at the address below — we'll process the request promptly.
Slipster is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
